What are you grateful for today?

It's a question I try to ask myself at least once a day. Usually I end up doing the asking when I get to a certain point just before the closest main street in my neighbourhood.

Well, here's my list for today...

I'm grateful that I just got pretty much a free website hosting upgrade right when I'm working on redesigning my website.

I'm grateful that I won a free marketing course for musicians recently. Through that course, I'm taking a good hard look at my fears and doubts, how I'm holding back, where I'm doing great, where I need to focus, etc. It's an eye-opening exercise to work on a 5 year vision!

Gee, I see a cool pattern. What else will the Universe gift to me?? What blessings! I'm going to intend that the Universe will give me a beautiful surprise tomorrow :)

I'm grateful that tomorrow I'm taking my daughter for back to school shopping.

I'm grateful for the healing I had today.

I'm grateful that I accomplished all I wanted to and more, today.

I'm grateful that now I'm going to bed after a long day, so that my body can adjust to the healing.

Sooo.... what are YOU grateful for today??

Being Open Brings Amazing Gifts

August 7/08

I just got back from an incredible massage – well it was more, it was a healing and activation. A local Aboriginal shiatsu therapist worked on me using not just her shiatsu training, but traditional Aboriginal medicine. She’s very gifted. And the thunder and rain happened during my session, just to add to my healing.

In case you've never met me, I'm the one who stands outside in the middle of my street to get the most rain on me when it pours around here. The rain heals me! It takes away my headaches, but I have to stand in it to get the benefits. That's how my song Water From the Sky came to me. I was standing in the rain and suddenly I heard the words, started singing and there was the song. And that song actually brings rain when I sing it in ceremony.

Anyway... so I was blessed by the thunder and rain during my healing today.

But the amazing stuff…

I felt a blanket of white light that I know was a grandmother spirit, flowing over my body for quite a while, in different areas that the massage therapist wasn't working on. It was so obviously a spirit… I even checked for open windows afterward and there were none and yet, I could feel the coolness of a fresh breeze whenever I saw the white light in my mind’s eye, and I had the distinct intuitive impression of a grandmother - quite possibly the one who works with me ever since I went to Thunder Mountain.

I don’t know if it was her or one of the healer's spirit helpers, but I kept saying thank you in my mind. At one point, that grandmother or another spirit actually physically touched me – again, I checked to make sure it wasn’t the healer, but she had both her hands engaged in working with another area of my body.

After this, I saw my body with what looked like holes in it, emitting bright columns of light right out to the sky, and the colours I remember are sky blue (luminescent, like a blue aura), and I think magenta and green, and a few more colours I don't remember. I saw and sensed that they (whoever ‘they’ are it had something to do with a Lemurian crystal friend of mine) were putting something into those 'holes' in my body. It looked like clear crystals, soft-edged rectangular containers filled with light of the same colours as the light beams coming out of me. Wherever those holes were in my body, where the colourful lights were coming out of me, they were putting those light-filled crystals inside. I also had the sensations and image of more than one being working on some intricate parts of my energy system. It's hard to describe. I feel this may have been the massage therapist's helpers working on me.

And then they were done. And I was teary-eyed and filled with such love and appreciation.

I knew I was being prepared for 08/08/08. That grandmother was taking out what I needed to release, calming me and somehow balancing my energy. Every time I felt that cool sensation flow over my skin, my whole body relaxed and I felt like I was floating. And these lights inside me, I don't know what exactly that's about but I'm sure to find out soon. Something was given to me to help me do this energy activation tomorrow and perhaps to help me with my healing work from here on. I don’t know what it was exactly but it was amazing, and I know had I not been open and allowing it, I wouldn't have been able to receive these gifts.

And the thunder beings at one point, I could feel them come in and help too. I know their energy - they've appeared to me before. Maybe it was when I had a warm sensation on my back, but it was definitely when I was on my stomach and the sensation was to do with my back. And every time I would feel a certain sensation and wonder about who was helping me, the thunder would sound as if on cue. Glad I laid that tobacco offering down before I left today. With all the thunderstorms recently, I've been regularly putting down tobacco to ask for safe passage and thank the thunders and rain for my healing.

I could feel my energy changing and shifting throughout the entire session. At various points I felt dizzy and like I wasn’t even physically there, even though I could feel the physical sensations of the massage. It was very powerful, the whole experience. I feel so blessed. My physical body got a really intense healing and my energy system got a total makeover!

I'm still quite blown away by what's been happening to me since this spring and it keeps getting more and more intense. But as I welcome what feels right, and follow through on inspiration or when I am called to do something, my life keeps on getting more and more amazing. And I know being open is the key.

I'm excited and even mystified by what will happen at 8pm on 08/08/08. I have no idea how it will all unfold because I am staying very open to guidance through Spirit as I did today. All I can say is, it feels like a giant bubble expanding and expanding and when it bursts tomorrow, healing, high vibration energy will spread throughout the universal energy field for everyone to access for the highest good of each individual as well as the whole.

What is this? Distance Healing, Sound Healing or What?

A few days ago, I went to see traditional healer Joanne Dallaire. Lately I've wanted more clarification around my newer healing abilities, because with this new energy on Mother Earth right now things keep on shifting and transforming for me.

I had already had an attunement with Julia Rogers-Hamrick, which went amazingly well, and through our session I had learned more about my spiritual healing gifts. I was calling what I do Distance Healing, and Sound Healing, but that wasn't quite capturing what I was doing. It was becoming obvious to me that something else was happening.

Some of my clients had experienced involuntary body movements during their distant healing session, and they were having eye-opening spiritual experiences, like visions and connecting for the first time to their spirit guides. Most were also getting physical pain relief and feeling energetic and like a new person afterward. And with every session I do, my abilities seem to grow stronger. So I knew something was up... and I had a feeling about what it was.

Essentially, through being an open channel for healing energy to flow through, I am helping people to plug into their original blueprint and connect to their spirit, as well as connect to Source/Creator/All That Is. And when their bodies are moving involuntarily, it's because their entire energy system is getting re-aligned, and whatever energy centres (chakras) need activation, they're getting it.

Also, I was told through Joanne and the spirits she works with that what I do is like this...
Like a radio or t.v., I transmit waves of sound and healing energy into your energy system - with your consent - and so you don't need to be at the radio station (physically near me) to experience the healing energy.

After getting into this blog the other day, my daughter needed me, and I could see a big storm brewing outside my window. I saw one big flash of lightning and the cable stopped working. Quickly I saved my blog just in case. Then lightning struck again and the boom of thunder was so big we both jumped. I closed my applications I had been working in. Then the wierdest thing happened.

The lightning lit up the sky again in a sheet so broad we could see it from the western window as well as the north. And my computer - all by itself - saved my settings and shut itself down properly. Wow. That's never happened to me before.

I am in awe of how energy and spirit work together so seamlessly. And to think all we have to do is let go and flow with it...
